By accessing or using Quizults ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Quizults provides interactive online quizzes including compatibility tests, personality assessments, and user-generated content. The Service is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes. Quiz results are not professional advice and should not be relied upon for making important life decisions.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian permission before using the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Create quizzes that contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Create quizzes that infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any systems or networks
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service
  • Collect or harvest personal information from other users without their consent
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written permission

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Your Responsibility

When you create and publish a custom quiz, you are solely responsible for the content you create. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to all content in your quiz
  • Your quiz content does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws
  • Your quiz content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party

5.2 License Grant

By creating and publishing a quiz, you grant Quizults a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your quiz content as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your content, but you give us permission to make it available to other users.

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, review, and remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality, is owned by Quizults and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL QUIZULTS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

7.3 Entertainment Purposes Only

All quizzes and results are for entertainment purposes only. Quiz results do not constitute professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise). Do not make important decisions based solely on quiz results. Consult qualified professionals for serious matters.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as advertising partners). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

9. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements from third-party advertising partners including Ezoic and Google AdSense. These partners may collect information and use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quizults and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
